Christmas Time!

This year is gonna be so much fun! I think I am more excited than when I was a kid. Have I ever mentioned just how MUCH I loved Christmas as a kid? Well, I loved Christmas so much and was so excited that I would literally run such a high fever that I would begin hallucinating and see things crawling on the walls. I'm weird...I know! But Christmas is just magical and now I get to experience it all over again through the eyes of my child. Last week we put up the trees and decorations and now Cooper wakes up and everyday when we turn on the tree he sings "Christmas Time, Christmas Tiiiiiimmmmme!" in his little childlike voice and it is just so sweet and precious with his little hands rising in the air! We also went this weekend and had our pictures made with Santa. A wonderful photographer named Kristen Weigel set up out at Historic Rock Castle in Hendersonville. Go to her website and check it out. She captures the real moments and I love that. Cooper was so excited to meet HoHo. As soon as we arrived he kept trying to get Santa's attention. Of course, when he finally got his turn to get up there and meet him he started acting like he was shy! It was a beautiful day and so much fun. I can't wait to get them back. Every year, I try to make our holiday cards fun and different. I love photo greeting cards because it allows me to share my family and our changes with friends and family that we haven't seen in a while. I also love receiving cards from others! The problem is I just can't decide which one I want to use. They have so many great options.

I love their photobooks as well and have found this to be the easiest way to get my pictures in an album and off my computer. I have found that the quality of Shutterfly's books by far surpasses their competiotion. I give them as gifts and people especially the grandparents go crazy for them. This year I ordered my dad a photo calendar for his office with all the grandchildren in it. I am so excited for him to see it and use it.

It's Christmas Time Again!

So I have been terrible about blogging lately. I have to say it kinda went on the back burner after my cancer diagnosis last year. I have been really focused on just getting better and keeping up with my little man. So I promise that I will be updating regularly again and hope to start adding some of my design work and crafts that I love and have completed as of late. I am totally in the mood now that Christmas is around the corner. It has been almost 2 years since I have really been in the Christmas Spirit. I LOVE Christmas but just haven't had the energy to do all that is involved in the getting everything ready. But today I put up my tree, it isn't decorated yet, I want little man to get used to it being there and lose interest before I start putting my beloved ornaments on, and we put the first of the lights up on the house. Don't worry, we will not be turning them on until Thanksgiving! But I feel way ahead of the game and so excited to celebrate the season this year!!

Prom Night---Beech High School---April 25th

Leah went to Jr. Prom April 25th. Her date was her boyfriend Cody Austin, he is a very nice young man. We all met at Leah's friend Jana's house to take pictures and Leah just looked so beautiful. This is one little country girl who cleans up real well.....haha...She said that people didn't even recognize her when she got to prom. She had a great time and she looked wonderful and I am sure that it was a magical night. But man, do we feel old having a child going to prom...haha...Boy how the time has flown by!

Easter Pictures

Well it has been along time since I have had the opportunity to update you all on Cooper and the Conley clan. We had a wonderful Easter and hope that you all did as well. Cooper finally took off walking on April the 13th. He had been taking steps forever and would occassionally take off after something he wanted but this is the official day that he started walking and has never looked back. Each day is new and exciting with this little one. He is getting so tall and can now reach things on top of the kitchen cabinets so I have to keep everything clear of the edges and clean at all times. He is all BOY...he tried to stand up on everything. He stands on his toys and can now get on top of the ottomans and sofa. He is very adventurous and has absolutely no fear of anything...So please pray for me....He keeps me on my toes and scares the pants off me most days. This week he started a new little wave and it is so funny. When people come on television he starts this little wave and has a look on his face like he is just so happy to see them. I will post video of this soon. We also have a daily ritual of waiting at the window for daddy to pull in the driveway. Jason just loves this and so do we. Cooper gets so excited when he sees daddy's truck and he just screams and yells and Jason just eats this up. It is the cutest thing in the world!!! So for now I am gonna post Easter pictures and watch soon for new video....the wave and daddy's home. I have gotten a chance to load them on the computer.

This is my very first Easter Basket and it was full of cool stuff!

Sunday started the festivities at our house! My parents are currently remodeling thier kitchen and bathrooms so I hosted Easter this year! We had loads of fun and another Easter Egg Hunt!
