On Saturday, Jimmy and Dana tied the knot! They had a very small ceremony in their backyard with only a few family and friends. It was a beautiful day but it was really hot! I couldn't possibly be happier for my brother. After many, many years he is finally happy again! He is such a good guy with a good heart and he found a wonderful girl who we all really love. I just wanted to take the time to congratulate them and wish them the best. Welcome to the family Dana and Taylor.

R.I.P. Randy Pausch!
Randy Pausch passed away today! If none of you were fortunate enough to hear his Last Lecture on Oprah I am going to post a link below to youtube. Everyone should listen to this truely inspirational and brave man. While fighting pancreatic cancer and being diagnosed with no hope for a cure, he wrote this speech for his children and it will make you laugh and cry but it has so much wisdom that I hope to impart in my child. So please watch the link below but know that you will definitely tear up! My thoughts and prayers are with his family today!

BLESSED!
Tomorrow my little boy will be 5-months old and as I sit here and reflect over the last few months I can't help but feel truly blessed for the miracle that he is!
Blessed with the fact that for some reason it was really easy for me to get pregnant!
Blessed that I had such a wonderful and uncomplicated 9 months!
Blessed that my labor, once I received the epidural was pretty much pain free!
Blessed with a doctor that gave me my epidural WHENEVER I felt like I needed or wanted it!
Blessed with a husband who loves me unconditionally and allows me to stay at home and raise our son with love and attention!
Blessed with a baby that is normal and has all of his fingers and toes and whose eyes light up the darkest of rooms!
Blessed with a loving a supportive family that is always there when I need them and that love my child almost as much as I do! (nobody loves him more!)
Blessed that the Lord has given me such a wonderful gift and treasure and has trusted me to raise him and take care of him in a way that is pleasing to him!
So many families struggle to get pregnant in this day and time and for some reason it came really easily for me and I am so thankful for that! My heart breaks for those that want a baby sooo badly and just can't have one! I would have absolutely been devastated to never have been able to experience this wonderful and amazing journey of motherhood! I know that I may never be a perfect mother, I know that I will make mistakes along the way. I just hope that I can raise a wonderful and smart human being that loves the Lord and that will be good to all of those around him. I hope that he finds his passion in life and is able to make a living at it! I hope that no matter what he does that he is successful and happy! All these things and more I wish for my baby Cooper! I know that this blog has been totally random but just something that I needed to get down on paper!

Watch me Roll Over!
Look Mom, I Can Touch My Feet!
So about 2 weeks ago Cooper became obsessed with his feet. He is constantly touching them and holding them in the air. I can't wait for him to stick them in his mouth, I am sure that is next but he hasn't quite pulled it off yet. As you can see, it has been hard to even get a picture of him with them down.

Welcome Mallory Lynn Moore!
Mallory is finally here! She is a week and a half early but beautiful and totally healthy. Sharon gave birth this morning at 7:20 a.m. by C-section and she weighed in at only 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 19-1/4 inches long.I am so excited that she decided to come today, July 5th, now this is a special day for me and Sharon. You see, I took my pregnancy test 1 year ago today and found out that I was pregnant with Cooper and now Sharon gave birth on this day! It is magical...haha! Lexy is just crazy about her and is like Aunt Meme come and see my sister!! She has huge dimples just like her big sister and a head full of dark brown hair. Mallory is absolutely precious and we are all in love with her already. Sharon is doing great, she is of course in some pain from the C-section, but everything is looking great. Mallory is so tiny, she actually outweighed Cooper's birth weight but now look at him. It was like holding a little feather...Time goes by so quickly and they grow so fast! So welcome to the world little Mallory...Your family tree is full of nuts!!
Our First 4th of July!
This year we celebrated our first 4th of July at home. Sharon, Seth and Lexy came down and we cooked out some burgers and hot dogs and just had a fun time. Sharon is very pregnant and at her last doctor's appointment she was already dialated to a 3 so we knew that the time was near, not to mention we knew that Cooper probably wasn't going to be really into the noise from fireworks. So staying at home just worked better for us. Our neighborhood actually puts on a pretty good fireworks show without the hassle of going downtown. Our neighbors at the end of the street go in every year and spend a couple thousand dollars on fireworks so it is pretty awesome. Everyone just pulls their chairs out to the street and watch. There are fireworks going off all around us and we get to visit with all the neighbors so it was a really nice time. Cooper fell asleep before the festivities began but he probably would have been scared anyway (he's not a fan of loud noise). But we had a really good time and as expected Sharon went into labor the next morning at 2 a.m. and now we have a beautiful baby girl to love forever!
