Today Cooper is really missing his dada while he is at work! He has said dada and mama before, but today it is all about dada and I finally caught him on video!

New Sounds
So this week we have a whole bunch of new sounds going on! He started out a week or so ago, growling and has now moved on to hissing like a snake! It is absolutely hilarious! He just has the best little personality I could have ever hoped for. He is also babbling like crazy and he makes the funniest face when he is doing it. He has mamama-dadada-gagaga-bababa down to a science. He says them all in a sequence. Everyday is something new. He still isn't crawling but he can move all over the floor on his belly, he can also stand up and hold on to things for a fairly long time. Once he figures out how to get those knees underneath his belly he is gonna be gone and into everything. He is very mobile now and doesn't like to be held as much...This makes me really sad...Don't get me wrong, I want him to grow up...EVENTUALLY...But it is just happening SO FAST! My niece and nephew came over yesterday and when Jason and I got together David was just 3 months old and Jessica was 2. They are now 13 and 10. It makes me crazy how fast they have grown up. Jessica is absolutely BOY CRAZY and David is in his lets shoot people with rubberband and tiny pieces of paper (called a wasp, for all of us old people...haha) phase. Want to talk about time racing by, they were over here so that Leah could show us her new car...Yes, everyone...That little girl with no shoes on and the little white dress at my wedding is officially driving!! She is 16 and heating up the roads! What a wonderful, carefree time of life she is in right now!! I hope that she enjoys every moment because these times are gone in a flash! I'll post pictures of her in her new car soon! Time passed so fast yesterday I forgot to get a picture before it was too dark to really take a good one! Well, that is all for now!

Cooper Can Wave!
I can't believe that in less than one week my baby boy will be 7-months-old! Time is flying by at lighting speed. With each new month comes new and exciting milestones. This past Monday (9/15) he just out of the blue started waving. Sharon was the first person that he waved at (She told me to make sure that was noted...haha)! It is just the cutest thing and now he does it all the time. Except of course when you get out the video camera. But I finally got him to do it for me and just had to share the video with you all!

M.O.P.S Group
This past Monday, I had my very first M.O.P.S. meeting! M.O.P.S. is Mothers of Pre-Schoolers and is a group for stay-at-home moms. It is a coming together of a wonderful group of mothers who are all at pretty much the same stage of life, who want to be there for each other and lift each other up. We have a mentor in each group, that is an older woman who has been there, done that and she is so encouraging and supportive of our decisions to stay at home and do the hardest job that a woman can do....Raise her little ones! It is held at Hendersonville First Baptist and from the moment that I arrived I felt truely embraced and accepted! How wonderful to meet so many woman who are in love with their families and with God! We laugh together, cry together and pray for one another! I know that I am going to make some very long, lasting and deep friendships with these women. They encourage me to be a better person and a better mother! Thanks Jennifer for introducing me to this group and helping me to get a spot...You are the best and have always been there for me! I would never want to know what my life would be like without you! I love you to death!
Just a little side note, they provide child care for the babies and I missed my little man terribly while we were in there. It was really nice, however, to enjoy an uninterrupted meal and good adult conversation! I couldn't wait to get back to him, since it was the first time that he had ever been left with anyone other rhan my mom. When I got down there, they had taken him and three other little boys (My guess is all the ones that wouldn't take a nap) on a stroller ride. They have all kinds of turtles and birds and fish in aquariums around the building.....So when I walked up he was strapped into the stroller and he started crying the minute that he saw me.......HE MISSED HIS MOMMY....I felt so loved!! He grabbed my face, pulling my hair the whole time...haha and gave me the biggest wet kiss, SLOBBER all over the side of my face and half my hair pulled out....OUCH!! But it was the best sugar that I could ask for! He gives kisses all the time now...Just watch your hair!!
