Our First 4th of July!

This year we celebrated our first 4th of July at home. Sharon, Seth and Lexy came down and we cooked out some burgers and hot dogs and just had a fun time. Sharon is very pregnant and at her last doctor's appointment she was already dialated to a 3 so we knew that the time was near, not to mention we knew that Cooper probably wasn't going to be really into the noise from fireworks. So staying at home just worked better for us. Our neighborhood actually puts on a pretty good fireworks show without the hassle of going downtown. Our neighbors at the end of the street go in every year and spend a couple thousand dollars on fireworks so it is pretty awesome. Everyone just pulls their chairs out to the street and watch. There are fireworks going off all around us and we get to visit with all the neighbors so it was a really nice time. Cooper fell asleep before the festivities began but he probably would have been scared anyway (he's not a fan of loud noise). But we had a really good time and as expected Sharon went into labor the next morning at 2 a.m. and now we have a beautiful baby girl to love forever!
