Cooper Ryan has arrived! He was delivered at Baptist Hospital on February 22, 2008 at 1:43 a.m. It was a long, grueling 17 1/2 hours of labor, but he was worth every pain and stitch that came along with his delivery. He is absolutely precious and a gift from God! He weighed in at 6 pounds 5-1/4 ounces and was 19 inches long. All the ladies in the nursery were just in love with him and hated to see him leave. It has been a huge adjustment getting used to no sleep and trying to get into a routine. But I will not complain and will cherish every sleepless minute because I know that they will only be for a short while and he will be grown up before I know it. So I am not going to worry about how my house looks or what I need to get done today. I am going to hold my little boy and kiss his cheeks and hope that I can keep these images and memories in my mind forever.
